Speaker: Bob Mount - Chairman of Officials for the CITA
As an Indiana high School Tennis Coach you are
also required to act as the official umpire for all matches not officiated by a
USTA official. Bob will do a mini training on the essential rules to be an
effective official for your players.

"Between the Lines, Between the Ears: Coaching the Mental Game"
Speaker: Aaron Halterman Graduate Student at IU and Intern for Center Grove Athletics

Athletes spend the majority of their athletic careers honing physical and technical skills. In order to be at their peak performance, however, athletes must spend time training their minds. This presentation will cover the basics of mental training, goal setting, relaxation training, concentration skills, and the ability to control one's highs and lows, giving athletes the foundation of mental training to build upon.

"Doubles Positioning, Strategies and Drills"
Speaker: Tony Epkey Teaching Professional and Center Grove Assistant

This session will cover doubles positioning and general strategies for successful doubles. Topics such as: How to get your players to move on the court and have the confidence they need to execute basic strategy; getting your players out of their "comfort" zones and into the "right" zone; the "unseen" benefits of good positioning; practical drills to help you train your players in these areas.
